When creating this fragrance, the perfumer imagined Edmond Dantès' time in prison – at first he thought he could be rehabilitated, but he slowly realized that this hope was about to be disillusioned. Dantès knew he was about to spend the rest of his life in Château d'If. However, he was very determined.
